Meets Grits!! Grits is our newest farm member. She is a Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dog. What a sweet heart she is. She lives down in the front pasture with the pigs to hopefully ward off any predators. It is amazing that she is actually doing her job at such a young age (12 weeks now). One night John went out in the pasture after dark and she growled at him until she knew who it was. Good girl!! She actually hangs out with the pigs... everywhere they are she is there, too! She sleeps in the "Hogtel" with Peaches. Let's keep our fingers crossed that she will keep to her good habits and not wander off.
