The clover is in full bloom. We came home this weekend to a field of red. John's hard work last fall has paid off. It was important for this clover crop to be successful because a dense stand of red clover contributes a significant amount nitrogen into the soil. That is one more step in efforts to maintain a "low input" farm. Yay for nitrogen!
