Our "Golden Girls" moved to the new chicken yard today. We just knew they would devour the tender green shoots of clover, oats and orchard grass and they did. But, the soft, rain-soaked earth beneath it was just too inviting to pass up. The hens were frantically scratching away to eat the worms. So not only was the grass greener on the other side of the fence... it was much juicier. They even caught a frog!
